Video: dictating German words
I have prepared a small video (6.8 MB, 2.51 min.) which shows how I dictate about 40 German words with simon 0.2. You will see that it works pretty well, and speech recognition under Ubuntu is possible. There is only one recognition error in the video.

Hi!
Thats a great video! You should think about putting it on youtube!
Also: What about adding a textmacro command “Enter” and “Word löschen” (Ctrl+Backspace).
Just a suggestion…
Greetings,
Peter
Yes, text macros would be a good thing. For me, the dictation plug-in has the highest priority. Text macros have the second highest priority.
Youtube would be good to get more viewers.
One step at a time. Momentarily, I think about the different kinds of ‘r’ in the dictionary.
I will have to read in the simon handbook about ‘Text-Macro Commands’.
Err… I meant shortcut commands instead of text-macros of course.
Sorry!
[...] I have uploaded video with the title Dictating with simon 0.2 under Ubuntu (7.8 MB; 3:10 min.). The video shows how I dictate 45 German words with simon. It is similar to the previous one. [...]
Klasse läuft die Software, die Grundlagen der Erkennung funktionieren – alles weitere ist (langwieriger) Feinschliff;)
Thanks for the feedback, Andreas. Yes, there are lots of adjustments to do.
