Dictate into OpenOffice.org Writer

1. It is possible to dictate with simon directly into OpenOffice.org Writer. I just tried that.

2. At the moment, I have trained about 54 German words (each word was recorded 3 times). Most of them are recognized correctly. I want to add more words before I produce another dictation video. My goal is to have a speech model with > 200 German words. I have to record each word separately, but at least now simon works with my good USB sound card which is connected to my noise-cancelling Sennheiser headset (for the headset, I paid 35 Euro). So the recording quality is quite good.

3. It would be good if simon added a space bar after each word when using the dictation plug-in. I don’t want to hit the space bar after each word.

4. I want to know whether it is possible to import my training samples (= wav files + prompts file + lexicon file) into simon. Download about 54 training samples (11.5 MB; license: GPLv3). The lexicon (HTK format) is included. It can be imported into simon as HTK lexicon. Is it possible to import the wav files and the corresponding prompts file into simon (Training > Import Trainingsdata > Import Prompts)?
