Under Win XP, it is pretty comfortable to set the time and the date. On my computer, Win XP does this automatically.
Under Ubuntu, it seems to be easy to set the time and date, too. On my system, it was necessary to install NTP. What is NTP? It is the Network Time Protocol.
After the installation, the time and date should be displayed correctly.
