My sound configuration

Here are a few screenshots of my sound configuration. I am not satisfied at the moment. Ubuntu is much more complicated when it comes to sound than Win XP. I am trying to find a better configuration than my current one:

Sound wave doesn’t look perfect under Audacity

I want a cleaner sound wave under Audacity. It should sound better than now.

I will do some trial and error to find a proper solution. Maybe I will install JACK.

I just found some useful tips. I just read a few lines and checked the volume control on the panel. I adjusted a value. It is better now.
